ShiNN knows what he's talking about, he is has wayy more experience than you or any more of the majority of MT users.

What you do just makes the experienced memberbase of MT stop even bothering to comment and just stay in the shadows because they have the steryotype of the "MT user" as stupid idiots who just like to leech and say "NICE BG"

Shinn did not make a good critique of the image. Shinn critiqued the language Lenne used to describe the image. Not one comment of Shinn's was directly related to the image itself. For the record, on Minitokyo I am no one special.

Not sure when or if I said everyone is being hypocritical. If you are referring to what I said on my userpage about scanners you will see that I specifically said "hypocritical for scanners". Not once did I complain about 'good commentary'. What Shinn said was not a commentary of the image Lenne submitted so therefore it was not 'good commentary.' I spoke up because I felt Shinn's implication that Lenne was a liar by asking for proof that her image was a vector was unfair and mean spirited.

I never questioned the truth of what Shinn was saying. If you would take the time to look, you will notice that, in fact, my comments back up what Shinn had said. I pointed out that no image on MT is a true vector.

What exactly is it that I did anyway? I simply asked someone to calm down and to not be confrontational. What is wrong with that?

Are you trying to say that I am a stupid idiot? If that's what you mean, then be plain about it and just say it. As for me being a leech, I must disagree. I have submitted over 100 images, including scans and wallpapers and other items. I hardly would call that being a leech. I'm not saying you are a leech but 14 wallpapers in 68 weeks doesn't exactly make you the most contributory member either. So far as commentary goes, you will never see a comment of mine where I just say nice bg. I always try to make commentary that is specific to that image, is helpful if possible, and never made with the intent of degrading or otherwise insulting the artist.
